Mr. Fear

Old Bad Fear is another one of Little Benny's enemies. He puts fear and doubt into Benny's heart, mind, and eyes. Fear get's in the way of Little Benny's faith. He slows him down from doing the things that he could do. However, it is good to have some fear which makes Little Benny cautious.

There is Danger in Smoking!

Little Benny is always remembering his past. Especially, when he is tempted. He is always tempted by his enemy, Cigar, an evil spirit. He tells Benny to live a little. When Cigar tells Benny to live a little, he means only a little. He does not want little Benny to live at all. What he is really telling Little Benny is to die. Cigar tells Benny to smoke, drink, and have a ball. He tries to make Benny see that there is no danger in having a drink or two, smoking a cigar every once and a while, and so on. For a long time, it does seem okay until it all catches up with you later on in life. When you look in the mirrow, you began to look old before your time. That is death talking to you right then and there.

Am I Good Enough

Romans 3:10 Tells us that there is none righteous, no, not one. (Gal. 3:22) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (Matt.19:17) And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good?there is none good but one, that is, Godbut if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (18) He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, (19) Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Little Benny had to ask himself, "Am I a sinner or am I good enough as I am?" Little Benny was led by the scripture as he read Matt.22:37, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (38)This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
