Tommie Girl has a contrite spirit. She has a deep and painful sense of guilt for wrong doing. Tommie Girl had been misled in life by others. She had been so misled that she was starting to become the person that she is not. Living a rough ghetto-like life even changed her appearance some. Now, that she is finding out about people, she is sad and hurt. Tommie lived in a world surrounded by jealousy, lying, and backstabbing. She grew up in a world where there was a lot of negative. That’s why her luck was never good. Tommie Girl had no friends. She was let down so many times by so many people. When the right person came along like Benny, it was hard for her to really trust him. This time, Benny was the right person. Tommie Girl knew she had to trust someone to escape from her worst enemy which is Cigar Keys. She is hurt and also angry because she found out that Cigar was the reason her father died.
