Little Benny Mug Stories

Little Benny

Little Benny had a dream about three coffee mugs. The first one was a coffee mug of Benny with a cigar in his mouth. He started to make this one his choice to pour his hot milk and honey in, for he did not drink coffee. It sat on the kitchen counter starring at him as if it was daring him to pick it up. Little Benny thought to himself, “Something about this mug seems funny.” The face on the mug appeared to look like him, and at the same time, the image began to look like a face with a sly look. This mug was full of things bad for Benny.

Benny decided not to choose the first mug, and he began to study the second mug. He started to make the second one his choice to pour his milk and honey in. It sat on the kitchen counter starring at him as if it wanted him to back away from it. Little Benny thought to himself, “I have a really bad feeling about this mug.” The man on the mug looked like a collage of himself. The man on the mug appeared to be sending out a message about an angry man biting down on a cigar. The man behind the face appeared to be good. This mug was full of bad things dying.

Then there was one last mug which was the third mug. The image on this mug was a face of peace and hope that appeared to look like Benny. It was a mug of goodness. When Little Benny chose this mug, he chose the right one. This was a sign that Little Benny was overcoming all of the bad things in his life that gave him trouble. This mug was taller and was different from the others. It stood tall on the kitchen counter waiting for Benny to pour his hot milk and honey.

When Little Benny woke up from his dream, he knew that he didn’t have a problem. His present life was fine, and he knew that his future would be too.
